Education is one of the cornerstones for improving a nation’s quality and building human resources. Teachers are entrusted with important responsibilities and sacred mission. Construction of high-quality teaching teams has important strategic significance on consolidating the results of compulsory education, promoting the balanced development of education, and implementing and strengthening quality education. Especially in poor areas, teachers are having an important impact on each child’s life!


  1. 2005Shin Shin launched the English Teacher Training (ETT) program. Starting from English training, the first one-month English “seed teacher” training was held in Shanghai. Seventeen teachers from Xiangxi participated in the program, with the purpose of enabling them to train more English teachers for local schools.
  2. 2006-2007Continuing the English training program, with the strong support of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province and the Municipal Education Commission, an English training class is held every summer in Hunan Changde Teachers College.
  3. 2008-2009Continuing English training program, held every summer in Changsha Vocational College of Science and Technology.
  4. 2010 Shin Shin added a computer teacher training program, plus the original English teacher training, collectively called English and Computer Teacher Training (ECTT). The goal of ECTT is to improve the English teaching and computer skills of teachers in Shin Shin primary schools in remote rural areas.
  5. 2011-2013Shin Shin established two English and computer teacher training centers in cooperation with well-known local universities in Changsha, Hunan and Lanzhou, Gansu.
  6. 2014Three domestic teacher training centers, including the Southern Training Center (Changsha, Hunan), the Northwest Training Center (Lanzhou, Gansu), and the Northern Training Center (Siping, Jilin), continue the ECTT summer English and computer teacher training program.The VTT American English teacher team supported by the Rotary Club began to participate in English training. VTT has participated in English training for a total of 6 years, which has played a great role in improving teachers’ English speaking and listening skills and teaching the world’s advanced language classroom teaching methods.In order to further narrow the education gap between rural and urban areas, promote the reform and innovation of rural education in China, enhance the leadership and competitiveness of rural primary school principals, and also build an exchange platform for principals of many Shin Shin schools across the country, Shin Shin cooperated with Beijing Normal University to conduct the first Shin Shin principal training in Beijing.
  7. 2015With the introduction of China’s education informatization policy since 2012 and the popularization of the use of information technology in teaching, Shin Shin’s computer training was also upgraded to information technology application training, and the first art training was held in Lanzhou, Gansu.
  8. 2016Since 2016, we have cooperated with the Rural Education Research Institute of Northeast Normal University to organize Shin Shin principal training and summer teacher training.
  9. 2017The 8th year of ECTT. During the period 2010-2017, even though computers and training opportunities were in shortage, the total number of trainings for rural Shin Shin Elementary Schools exceeded 1,200, greatly improving teachers’ English and IT skills.
  10. 2018Shin Shin training began to transform in the direction of multidisciplinary. In addition to traditional English, information technology, training subjects have added language, mathematics, STEAM and class teacher training content.
  11. 2019With the increase in the importance of quality education for students, training subjects will be further diversified, including English, Chinese, mathematics, STEAM, art training, and reading education and positive education and training related to children’s psychology have been added.
