The Lunar Chinese New Year is coming, let me first wish everyone a happy new year for Shin Shin. Hope everyone have a great new year, with good luck and fortune all year long!
Not to mention how this year is the 20th anniversary of Shin Shin foundation, and we have our monthly meeting on February 11th, which is also the day of the Lantern Festival. We are planning to have the first gathering of the Shin Shin volunteers of the Bay Area, and have everyone together, celebrating for the past 20 years of Shin Shin and also Chinese New Year. It teaches the kids from our Youth Group our Chinese traditions, feel the surrounding atmosphere, and wish the elders happy new years.
The gathering is planned to be on February 11th, Saturday, at Union Church of Cupertino. The gathering involves a potluck, where everyone is welcomed to bring food and snacks. We will also prepare food and amazing activities for you guys (If you come with your family, there will be a surprise!).
The monthly meeting will be conducted at 10 and will end at 11. We will discuss about planning and budget for 2017. All volunteers are asked to attend this meeting. Please Use this link,
